As you know about our holidays plan of 2017, if not then check our post, where we have listed our plans to visit most beautiful but ignored destinations in India. We are excited in taking our first trip of the year 2017. We already made several arrangements for visiting the offbeat destinations with our daughter Niti, who has just completed her first birthday on 6th of February. In this post, I will share our plans to behold the frozen lakes on Himalayas, which is among our 2017 bucketlist.

marhi

In order to behold the frozen lakes of Himalayas we have decided to go to Marhi, which is a small village in Himachal Pradesh, about 35 kilometers from Manali, and takes about 1 hour via Leh Manali Highway. We have selected this destination after we heard of snow fall in news. We will be leaving for Manali on 27th February and will spend a day there, we have already booked our hotel in Manali through reservations.com which is a popular application, when it comes to hotel booking at reasonable price. It provides both budget and deluxe hotel options with a premium quality support system. You should definitely try this, when the next time you plan for a trip.

After spending a day at Manali and exploring the local sights, we will leave for Marhi by hiring a private cab which is easily available at 1000 INR in Manali. This is the first time we are taking Niti to such a freezing temperature and have no idea, how she will react. Although we are well prepared with warm cloths and gears but still a bit worried. We are relying on your good wishes and prayers and hope we will come up with lots of great photos and videos, which we will be uploading after we complete our trip. Leave your suggestions in comment section, if you have already been to Marhi.
