Estimated Cost from Delhi to Haridwar and return for two people 2000-2400

The distance between Delhi to Haridwar is approximately 210 KM and it is well connected both by Rail and Road network. We booked the AC sleeper bus service Delhi-Haridwar-Delhi at 2100 INR for two including both onward and return Journey. Direct trains from Delhi to Haridwar is also available, but most of the trains reach Haridwar at an unsuitable time and I didn’t want to waste my time waiting in the station. I do recommend that you book a sleeper bus service for a comfortable Journey.

Accommodation

Estimated cost of budget hotels in Haridwar 1200-2200 per night

Haridwar has a wide variety of Hotels & guest houses which will fit the budget of all. We booked a standard room in Hotel Aditya which is situated by the river Ganga in Har-ki-Pauri market. Being very close to market, bus stand, Mansa Devi Temple, Chandi Devi temple and of course the view of serene Ganga from our hotel room made our stay both affordable and memorable. The price of a standard Non-AC room with Ganga View was 1400 / per night on twin sharing basis. Choosing a good and affordable hotel is the key to the memorable budget travel experience. Food

Haridwar is a divine destination and you will only find pure vegetarian food at a very reasonable price here. You will get a full plate Indian meal at a cost of 120 to 200 INR  in an average restaurant. You won’t be spending more than 1000 INR on food for the weekend trip.

Sightseeing

Visiting landmarks & attractions in Haridwar and nearby is easy and affordable. Shared Auto, Cycle Rickshaw, Taxi, Buses are available. If you book a hotel at the right location, then you can easily cut the traveling charge.
