Travel Blog UPDATE (1st Week)
An ambitious week; launched the website on 1st July and got 20 users per day on an average.
- Launched eragenx.com(a pre-owned domain) on WordPress CMS, with a great free theme(I will make my own theme soon).
- Wrote two articles on keywords “places to visit in Manali” and “places to visit in Kasauli”. (Both articles has 1500+ words with on-page optimized SEO and is rich in media). Average monthly google’s search of these keywords is about 3000 each.
- Created a page on Facebook “bestplacestovisitinIndia”, Twitter “xclusiveindia” and Instagram “touringIndia” (Reason for different names is the unavailability of names. )

Travel Blog UPDATE (2nd Week)
This week Nivedita helped me in writing articles, while I was busy searching for good guest post opportunities and optimizing twitter profile. We got 18 users per day on an average this week.
- Wrote two articles on keywords “places to visit in Dalhousie” and “places to visit in Himachal Pradesh”. (Both articles have 2000+ words with on-page optimized SEO and are rich in media). Average monthly google’s search of these keywords is 2700 and 4300 respectively.
- Made some connection with other travel bloggers on twitter and pitched them for guest post.
- Wrote a guest post on places to visit in Himachal with a link-back to my original Himachal article. (check the guest post here).
- Posted photos on Instagram, and tweets on twitter.
Some Stats: Total user on website this week: 287; Twitter Followers: 315 ; Facebook: 12; Instagram: 83
Travel Blog UPDATE (3rd Week)
Has been an amazing week, pitched a story to news publication and got a positive response. We also visited a hill station Mussoorie in Uttarakhand.
- Wrote three articles on keywords “places to visit in Mussoorie” and “places to visit in Uttarakhand” and “Plan and preparation to visit Mussoorie in monsoon.” (All the articles have 2000+ words with on-page optimized SEO and are rich in media). Average monthly google’s search of these keywords is 3200, 1200 and 4400 respectively.
- Sent my story to News Publication.
- Posted photos on Instagram, and tweets on twitter.
- Bought a fiver gig worth $5, the guy promoted my 7 articles to his established fan base of 1 million Facebook users. Total cost was 7×5= $35
