And not to forget the towering tales of TV Tower at Kasauli. It is the kinghood of Kasauli and a big value for the city and acts as sign board which is visible right from Chandigarh. If given opportunity to view the surroundings from its top platforms , Kasauli Tower is treat to see.

My great-grand father was stationed here with the 13th Hussarsthe regiment moving away from Meerut during the heat of the summer months . So would like to travel to India to follow his “Route” from 1904-1915 , when he left India to go and fight on the Western Front.

I have visited almost all the places in Kasauli except Gilbert Trail.
If I plan to visit only Gilbert Trail in one day trip from Chandigarh, is it possible? Please guide me on this.

    Its possible, but not recommended, you need at least one full day to capture the best of gilbert trail.

I totally agree. Kasauli is peaceful place. I also visited this place and I have a great experience. Now I am planning for Kullu Manali.
