So, the new year is there at the corner, and we are so much excited with our 2017 travel plans. The year of 2016 was so eventful and we have explored entire North India tourist places. Yes, it took us a year to explore just the northern part of India, and I am surprised with some of my friends, who say that they have completed their India trip in 1 month. India has so many things to do and so many landmarks to visit.  In the year of 2017, we have decided to choose the best of the rest destinations in India. As I always say that India is All-in-one package for any type of traveler. There are so much lesser known, but extremely beautiful villages, treks, religious landmarks, offbeat attractions that captivate my wanderer mind every time, I think about it. I have created a list of 10 places that I am going to visit in 2017. In some trip, I will go as a Solo, while in others I will prefer to travel with family. I have selected this list after reviewing hundreds of traveler’s review and after reading lots of travelogues.

Spend night in the Thar Desert

Few things are so difficult to find in the world today, for example, a pollution free sky, a clear Horizon.  Thar desert in the Indian state of Rajasthan has inspired me so much with its rough beauty and cultural diversity. I will be spending a night here, to catch the serenity of this beautiful place.

Take part in Rann of Kutch Carnival

Surrounded by the Himalayas, this village is also known as the gateway to Heaven, because it is believed that the Pandavas, passed through this village to reach heaven.

If you really wish to visit ignored destinations… Move to north East and down to Tamilnadu. You must also visit Grahan Village that hold the legacy of Himalayan history …. The web hardly tells anything about this beautiful village… do read about it http://travelhippies.in/2017/02/11/grahan-village-himachal-pradesh/
